Townsend Drive

This project saw the transformation of a single large detached house into four exceptional homes, set in a stunning location opposite a heath and just a short walk from the centre of St Albans.

The development consisted of two four-bedroom houses and two three-bedroom bungalows, both featuring upstairs bedroom suites. All homes were sold off-plan, giving us the opportunity to collaborate closely with the buyers and tailor each property to their individual needs.

Our design approach focused on maximising light and space. For the bungalows, we moved away from traditional layouts, creating a flowing design that avoided long corridors and instead promoted openness and ease of movement. In the four-bedroom houses, bifold doors connected the generous kitchen living spaces to the gardens, offering seamless living.
